In my list of books that I have gone through, I haven't mentioned date and year with book name bt probably in 2k6 or 10 I read Michael H Hart's "The 100" that described 100 most influential personalities of world justifying each personality's ranking as per the influence personality had on the world or people.
It was his first book that was much controversial among his Christian community for ranking Muhammad above Jesus but Hart successfully won the arguments hence after reading Hart's 100 it was extremely mandatory for me to read this "100 Azeem Musalman". After reading just "دو حرف".
i got few similarities in Hart's n Yasir Jawad's book the first is opening personality that is same in both of them , both have justified ranking of personalities , both had faced controversies over personalities like Hart mentioned Adolf Hitler and Yasir Jawad mentioned Malala Yousufzai though Malala had no influence at all over people while Adolf had alot of influence on Nazis yet Malala mentioned in book .
Sufis are not mostly considered as muslims by a major chunk of society for their unique perceptions like abandoning the world, silence, willingly adopting the hardships, isolations etc even Ibn al Arabi (spiritual guide) nowadays is doubted for being and shown as muslim in history based serial Ertugrul so some objections might raise on including sufis like Mansoor Al Halaj n Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani bt both of these writers lay emphasis on "influence" these ppl had , certainly all sufis had influence n therefore remembered still today.
